Every cat who finds safety, receives medical care, or is adopted into a loving home has one thing in common: a volunteer made it possible.
Operation Topcat is a 100% volunteer-run rescue. Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do, and every person who gives their time helps create another second chance for a cat in need.
Whether you have a few hours a month or a few hours a week, there's a place for you on our team. No previous rescue experience is required, and we'll provide training and support along the way.
Volunteer Opportunities
PetSmart Cat Care
Help care for our adoptable cats at the PetSmart Adoption Center on Western Boulevard in Jacksonville. Volunteers help feed the cats, refresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and most importantly, spend time playing and socializing with them.
Adoption Events
Help with event set up and clean up.
Transportation
Have a reliable vehicle? Help transport cats to veterinary appointments, foster homes, or adoption events.
Behind-the-Scenes Support
Love photography, writing, organization, or social media? Help prepare cat profiles, photos, and educational materials that connect our cats with future adopters and educate the community about TNVR.
